Mr. Strobel began his Kenpo journey on 2003 when his oldest daughter Samantha (now a green belt) started classes in American Kenpo in Mr. Rolando's Champion Youth American Kenpo Program. After watching the classes and helping her study, Mr. Strobel began taking the adult class and has been studying under Mr. Rolando ever since.

Currently a 2nd degree Black belt, Mr. Strobel also teaches American Kenpo under Mr. Rolando at the Richfield location of Champion Youth Programs.

Mr. Strobel has competed in many state and regional tournaments throughout the Twin Cities as well as the International Karate Championships in Long Beach, California.

Mr. Strobel is the N.C.K.A. self defense champion taking 1st place at the 2007 Twin Cities Open,  2007 Central States Open, 2007 Minnesota State Tournament, and the N.C.K.A. Open.

Mr. Strobel also works as security for private events and wekends at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill.
